Chablis Vieilles Vignes AOC – Lamblin & Fils

Crafted by the historic house Lamblin & Fils, established in 1690 in the heart of Chablis, this Vieilles Vignes cuvée highlights the remarkable concentration and complexity that only mature vines can provide.

The Chardonnay grapes are sourced from older vineyards rooted deep in Kimmeridgian limestone soils, rich in fossilized marine sediments. These old vines naturally produce lower yields, resulting in more concentrated flavors and enhanced structure.

In the glass, the wine reveals a brilliant pale gold color. The nose offers layered aromas of citrus zest, white peach, green apple and subtle flinty notes. On the palate, it is dry, precise and structured, with vibrant acidity balanced by remarkable depth and a long mineral finish.

Compared to classic Chablis, the Vieilles Vignes cuvée shows more richness, complexity and aging potential while preserving the hallmark freshness of the appellation.
